Tyler Spicher
Hi! My name is Tyler Spicher and I am currently a CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) Artist at TRG Multimedia in Cleveland, Ohio. I grew up in Warren, Ohio. During my later years of high school I attended the TCTC (Trumbull Career & Technical Center) where I found a passion for all things CG and learned many new skills. While there, I competed in two computer animation competitions for the student organization Business Professionals of America. These competitions solidified my enjoyment of CG and I knew that this is what I wanted to pursue in my career. After graduating from high school, I moved south to attend the University of Central Florida. After two years there, I was looking for something a bit more focused. One of my instructor's at the Trumbull Career & Technical Center, Kris Doran, happened to be visiting Orlando to tour a CG focused school called the DAVE (Digital Animation & Visual Effects) school. I immediately had the desire to attend and shortly after the tour I was accepted into the program. It was an accelerated, intense course load but after a year I graduated with a Bachelor's in Visual Effects. Then, I worked as a Teaching Assistant for the school until they connected me with TRG Multimedia where I was hired and moved back to Ohio to start! I have now worked at TRG for shortly over a year and I owe my success to both TCTC and the DAVE school!"
